You will have the opportunity to develop your video playback skills on iOS and tvOS.

We created Redge Media Portal and Redge Media Player applications from scratch. We care about their quality, because nobody likes it when something disturbs them from watching the next episode of their favorite series or the games of their favorite sports team.

There are many interesting programming challenges under the “play” button. By joining our team you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in the area of video playback on iOS and tvOS. If you know concepts such as MPEG-DASH, H.264, timeshift or NPVR, you will feel at home with us. If not, we’ll teach you all this and more, because modern video services aren’t just about playback. It is also catalogs and content search, programming, shopping, recommendations, analytics and notifications.

Requirements

— good knowledge of Swift and iOS SDK,

— ability to create a UI layer from the source code,

— minimum two years of experience in developing applications for the iOS / tvOS platform,

— knowledge of client-server communication (HTTP protocol, REST API, etc.),

— basic understanding of UX / UI rules in force on mobile platforms.

Nice to have

— experience with the tvOS platform,

— knowledge of aspects related to multimedia technologies (MPEG-DASH, Widevine DRM, etc.).
