IT Project Manager in Vilnius (client side)
Development and maintenance of an existing project based on Redge Media Portal
One of the flagship products of Redge Technologies is the Redge Media Portal, which we created from scratch, which consists of cross-platform applications for TV over the Internet (OTT). We offer our clients the constantly developed Redge Media Portal in the white-label model and you can find it using websites such as player.pl, playnow.pl. go3.tv, play.tv3.lt, vod.pl. We work using our deep technical knowledge, elements of agile methodologies and common sense. We focus on continuous and iterative improvement of our products, ensuring the highest quality to provide reliable, convenient and modern applications that will allow you to watch the next episode of an addictive series or a match of your favorite sports team.
As a Project Manager, you will work on the development and maintenance of the leading streaming platform of the TV3 Group in the Baltic States at our client’s headquarters in Vilnius, Lithuania. You will join the Team of excellent specialists in all areas necessary to maintain and develop client and server applications that make up the platform (backend, WEB, iOS, Android, SmartTV developers and specialists in the field of devops, testing, UX / UI) and you will have the opportunity to cooperate with other project and department managers.
You will spend the first three months on implementation and training at our company’s headquarters in Warsaw, and then you will be able to realize yourself during the project at the client’s.
As a Project Manager you will:
— taking care of basic project parameters such as scope, schedule, budget and project costs,
— contact with the client related to the collection of new requirements and the transfer of completed tasks,
— translating requirements into solution concepts and estimating labor consumption,
— daily organization of the Project Team’s work,
— managing tasks and taking care of project documentation,
— taking care of the highest quality of implemented software,
— reporting progress, identifying risks and looking for solutions that eliminate them.
Requirements
— at least five years of experience in running projects as part of a team of programmers, including backend,
— technical knowledge allowing for an estimated analysis of the degree of complexity and labor intensity of introducing changes to existing solutions with the support of the Team,
— experience in operational issues related to the maintenance and development of web applications,
—- communication skills and proficiency in using the English language in speech and writing,
— willingness to act proactively and the ability to search for effective compromises.
Nice to have
— higher technical education, IT majors preferred,
— AgilePM/Scrum or other specialist certificate in the field of agile project management,
— experience in implementing solutions based on IaaS and PaaS services based on the AWS cloud,
— knowledge of aspects related to multimedia technologies (MPEG-DASH, Widevine DRM, etc.),
— knowledge of Polish language would be a nice advantage.
