SysOps Engineer
You will ongoing maintenance of implementations Redge Media platform in the AWS Cloud model or on-premise.
At Redge Technologies, we develop the country’s largest technology platform for Internet TV – Redge Media.
Redge Media is used by the largest and most popular Internet TV stations in Poland, such as player.pl or playnow.pl. Thanks to our technology, millions of users of these portals can enjoy access to their favorite video content every day. The mobile applications we have created have remained in the top places of popularity for many months, both in the Google Play store and the Apple Appstore.
The tasks of the employed person will include ongoing maintenance of implementations Redge Media platform for Polish and foreign clients in the AWS Cloud model oraz on-premise. You will take an active part in the processes of delivering changes to production, monitoring and constantly improving the performance and stability of the platform.
By joining our team, you will work with people who care about the quality of our platform! We pay a lot of attention to the code review process and software development automation.
Requirements
— knowledge of AWS or others solutions public / private cloud
— experience in process automation CI / CD (we use Git, Jenkins, Puppet)
— experience with PostgreSQL RDBMS management and optimization
— experience with maintaining WildFly, Tomcat application servers and applications based on the Spring framework
— knowledge of Linux systems such as Debian, Ubuntu (nice to have also Redhat, CentOS)
— knowledge of tools for monitoring and management logs (ELK, Nagios, Zabbix, Grafana, NewRelic will be welcome)
— fluent English (B2+)
Nice to have
— knowledge of environments such as Kubernetes / EKS
— knowledge of Python programming language
